Well, it’s been 8 months or so of laughter and tears and all different kinds of FUN, but finally, we’ve locked the mix. Next step is mastering. We’re on track for our Nov 1st release and we CANNOT WAIT to share the music with you. It’s been quite a departure in sound from our debut album in 2024 – I can tease that there may be horns and keyboards…but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Once again we’ve produced the album remotely – using Madhouse Music in the North and Encee Music in the South. The mix session was made possible using AudioMovers – if you haven’t used it yet – we can’t speak highly enough. We were able to stream the live mix from Madhouse in 44.1K to Encee Studios for live feedback and tweaking. The studios are 500km apart but distance doesn’t matter with this tech. Love it!
What’s next? Off to Mastering where the album will be completed at the incredible Shoehorse Sound mastering facility in Beechwood NSW. Michael Lynch has the best ears in the business and we can’t wait to work with him once again.
